To make visible the sustainability initiatives of companies committed to the Sustainable Development Goals, the Philanthropreneur – Founder of Ukandoit Global, ELena Dolinski, attended the Green Carpet of the Premios Verdes Awards 2022 in Miami, wearing an outfit specially created as a strategy to show products from companies that develop nature-friendly initiatives.
“The proposal is that, each year, the outfit that ELena Dolinski wears on the Green Carpet serves as a showcase to raise awareness among the general population, with special attention to young people, so that they make purposeful purchase decisions that impact sustainability in a positive way and that, at the same time, companies feel motivated to promote their initiatives aimed at reducing environmental impact and the issues surrounding our environment like global warming and climate change; water pollution and ocean acidification; and loss of biodiversity, by joining the digital platform of Ukandoit Global”, she stated during Premios Verdes, the most relevant sustainability festival in the region, which each year awards, gives visibility and creates networks among the best 500 social and environmental projects in Ibero-America.
The creative outfit was decorated with items from socially responsible companies in terms of sustainability, such as McDonald’s recyclable packaging and Subway napkins that are 100% recycled paper and printed with water ink, as well as cups with strawless lids from Starbucks, Dasani water from Coca-Cola with its aluminum can, Charmin‘s “ecofriendly” toilet paper, Pampers diapers made with low carbon emissions, O.B. Organic with 100% organic cotton, among many others.
